Outside of Scandinavia or 1950s television, Minnesota might be the whitest place on earth. Duluth’s YWCA wanted to deal with this issue head-on and enlisted us to start a community conversation.

What ensued became the “UnFair Campaign.” Led by intentionally provocative copy, this campaign produced 100,000 site views, coverage by Minnesota Public Radio, MSNBC and spewings by Rush Limbaugh on national radio.

It was awesome.

Even more awesome? The campaign sparked an in-depth and productive community dialogue.
