October is filled with falling leaves, candy corn and socks. Instead of promoting cavities, Swim Creative is participating in Socktober. Will you join us?
Why? Because we wouldn’t be living our ethics if we didn’t do things like this.
The goal of Socktober is to fill a box with socks throughout the month of October, and then donate it to a local shelter.
We chose Life House.
Life House has provided homeless and street youth ages 14–21 with unconditional support, transitional housing, and a safe alternative to the streets for nearly 25 years. Life House serves approximately 600 unduplicated youth and 75 of their young children each year.
Those kids need some socks and we’ve made it our goal to fill a box with 100 pairs.
How can you help?
Pick up a pair or two, swing by the Swim office and add to the collection.
Next, encourage others to participate in Socktober. Take a photo of your socks and share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by using #socktober. You can also start a box at your office or in your neighborhood.
Socktober goes through the end of the month. That’s 17 more days to fill the box—so sock to it!

We truly appreciate all of you who help us contribute to Socktober.
Sincerely,
The Swim Team
I’m glad life house are doing their efforts to help those people!
