Every year, National Bank of Commerce (NBC) sends out an annual report to its shareholders. Since pages and pages of numbers can come off as dry, NBC wanted to give the report an emotional lift. Swim went beyond the numbers to the people behind them. We interviewed actual NBC customers and relayed their stories to those who were making them possible. We upped the use of charts and graphs to convey what the numbers meant in a bigger context. In addition to the financial side, the report also included records of the volunteer hours NBC employees invested in the community. All in all, the bright and welcoming report left shareholders feeling good about the community bank in which they’ve invested.
