Swim Creative Hires Digital Media Strategist, Amber Ooley

Amber Ooley has been brought on full-time as the Media Strategist for Duluth ad agency Swim Creative. As Swim’s Media Strategist, Amber develops marketing and communication plans using both new and traditional media. As a certified Google Partner, Amber creates and manages AdWords campaigns, search engine optimization and analytics—and is provided with current insights and marketing resources from Google.

Amber earned her degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Previously, she has worked as a production team member for WDIO/WIRT – TV and as the head copy editor for LakeVoice News. She has also managed and created content for companies’ web and social media sites including Teavana, Summit School and Animal Allies.

“The way the world consumes media changes constantly,” said Amber. “So being able to track where consumers are coming from is critical. Trends are fascinating to me and I am fully absorbed in this every day. Our clients benefit as I guide them to the most effective media strategies available whether it is traditional, online or social media.”

Amber’s daily responsibilities also include producing social media content for Swim clients using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Vine and more.
