DULUTH, MN — Duluth ad agency Swim Creative was honored with five awards, including Best in Show and People’s Choice, at the 39th annual Duluth/Superior American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYS, last Friday, February 28th.
The American Advertising Awards is an annual award show put on locally by the Duluth/Superior Ad Federation celebrating the best advertising work in the area. All entries are judged by a board of advertising professionals from across the country.
The biggest award of the night, Best in Show, went to Swim Creative for their beer can designs for Bent Paddle Brewery Company. In addition, their Bent Paddle can designs won a Gold Award in the packaging category.
Another big award of the night, People’s Choice, went to Swim Creative for their campaign for the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra (DSSO). This work also won them a Gold in the integrated campaign category and a Silver in the local thirty-second television category.
“We have a great team and our hard work is obviously paying off,” said David Sadowski, Creative Director.
“Winning awards is always an honor, but creating big ideas that furthers our client’s business is what continues to drive us everyday,” said Patrice Bradley, CEO.
Both Bent Paddle and DSSO entries will move onto regionals for the next round of competition. Regional winners will be named sometime in spring. To view their winning pieces and other examples of their work, visit swimcreative.com.
