Superior, Wisconsin, is a character – a destination all its own. This quirky tourism brand promises that people can be themselves and have tons of fun in Superior. With a retro color palette and visual style inspired by Superior’s own signs and buildings, Gotta Be Superior is a standout tourism brand as unique as the city itself.

This project is a wide-reaching and comprehensive campaign that has been proven effective across measurable KPIs. The Gotta Be Superior brand and advertising campaigns have been raising awareness of Superior as a vacation option in the targeted markets of Eau Claire and Madison, Wisconsin, when compared to control markets in Minnesota. Trackable digital campaigns have been exceeding benchmarks continuously. For tactics that aren’t trackable, survey research has been conducted showing improving metrics in all areas for Superior as a vacation destination within the target markets.
